Andrew N. Fiske is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of local government, land use, and labor and employment law. Mr. Fiske advises public and private employers in analyzing, resolving and defending a wide range of personnel-related issues. He also is well-versed in government representation and on land use matters. Mr. Fiske has a breadth of experience in zoning, legislative drafting, regulatory matters, eminent domain, personnel issues, contract drafting and interpretation, application of the Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act, public bidding and purchasing, and the enforcement of municipal ordinances and codes.

In addition, Mr. Fiske is an experienced litigator in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies. He has particular experience in appellate advocacy, having prepared and argued appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the First Appellate District of Illinois.

Mr. Fiske speaks and writes frequently on current legal issues and is a past chair of the Chicago Bar Association Local Government Committee.
