Overview

Sergio Fontanez is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm's International Trade Group. Mr. Fontanez focuses his practice on international regulatory and compliance matters.

A former presidential management fellow with the U.S. Department of State, Mr. Fontanez brings in-depth knowledge of foreign affairs and national security to address complex legal, regulatory and policy issues.

In addition, Mr. Fontanez served as a policy advisor to the U.S. Special Representative for North Korea, focusing on sanctions enforcement and cyber policy.

Prior to his work with the State Department, Mr. Fontanez served in the U.S. Air Force.
