Eric B. Funt is a business litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office. Mr. Funt focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation; business torts, including breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition and fraud; violations of covenants-not-to-compete; and intellectual property claims under trademark and copyright law. Mr. Funt also has significant experience representing clients in the financial services industry, including national banks, mortgage servicers, debt buyers, third-party debt collectors and other consumer finance companies.
Mr. Funt returns to Holland & Knight after a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Kathleen M. Williams of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Before his clerkship, he was a litigation attorney in the firm's Miami office.
In addition, Mr. Funt served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Edwin G. Torres of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and for the Honorable Beryl A. Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Funt is also a dedicated pro bono advocate.
