Overview

John Haubenreich combines an investigator's instincts with a trial lawyer's viewpoint to offer strategic counsel to clients facing high-stakes challenges. Whether conducting sensitive and confidential investigations or adeptly litigating disputed claims, he maximizes his clients' ability to meet their objectives while minimizing potential liability or disruption to business operations.

Corporate boards and general counsel are among those who routinely turn to Mr. Haubenreich for internal investigations when speed, discretion and accuracy are essential. Skilled at fact-finding and legal analysis, his internal investigation experience combines witness interviews with a sophisticated understanding of forensic data gathering, database reviews, and document analysis to provide clients with comprehensive insight, detailed reports and strategic recommendations.

In the courtroom, Mr. Haubenreich is a seasoned litigator who has won jury verdicts for clients in both state and federal courts. He has handled many government enforcement actions involving the False Claims Act, in addition to copyright and trademark litigation, civil disputes and other business litigation, and state and federal environmental regulatory matters.

Hospitals, health systems, home health agencies and other healthcare providers, in particular, rely on Mr. Haubenreich for assistance with internal and government investigations, and he has successfully resolved False Claims Act allegations on behalf of clients with the Department of Justice.

Additionally, Mr. Haubenreich has significant entertainment law experience that includes the representation of high-profile recording artists in copyright litigation, trademark disputes and other civil litigation.
