Emil R. Infante is a Miami business attorney who focuses his practice on securities, financial regulation, banking, family office services, restructuring, cross-border transactions and international dispute resolution. Mr. Infante also has significant experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-corruption, anti-money laundering investigations and compliance within the U.S. and Latin American markets, as well as experience with the Magnitsky Act.  

In addition, Mr. Infante advises sovereign nations, foreign companies and family groups doing business in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean on complex corporate and financial matters. He also has participated as counsel in multiple international litigation and arbitration matters in the U.S., Latin America and Europe. Mr. Infante also has ample experience as an arbitrator involving insurance claims and significant insurance coverage disputes at a national and international level.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Infante worked as an investment adviser, creating and heading a company's professional athlete division and advising professional athletes on the administration of their financial affairs. In this role, he also advised high-net-worth individuals and institutions.

Mr. Infante also worked for a Washington, D.C., financial advocacy organization where he promoted the interests of member companies in federal, legislative, regulatory and judicial forums to effectively communicate the benefits of competitive and integrated financial services to the public. He is also a graduate of St. Mary's Institute on World Legal Problems in Innsbruck, Austria, where he continues to serve as a visiting professor.
