Overview

Brian Kim is a Chicago real estate attorney who focuses his practice on representing lenders, real estate investors and developers in structuring, managing and maximizing their returns on their debt and equity real estate investments. Mr. Kim focuses on providing business-driven and practical solutions to effectively address his clients' legal and business needs.

In addition, Mr. Kim is well-versed in advising borrower and lender clients on corporate and financing transactions, including documenting various types of cash-flow and asset-based secured and unsecured credit facilities.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Kim was an associate at multiple international law firms, focusing on the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of all types of commercial real estate properties around the world. He is experienced with conducting due diligence investigations and drafting joint venture agreements, loan and credit documents, purchase and sale agreements, construction and consultant agreements, development agreements and other documents in connection with the acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial properties.
