Margaret M. Laffler is an attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Ms. Laffler principally practices in the area of real estate finance, with an emphasis on affordable housing transactions.

Ms. Laffler represents a number of financial institutions and other lenders in various types of commercial mortgage loan transactions, including letter of credit-enhanced bonds and purchase money financing. She represents lender clients with a focus on the financing and development of community multifamily projects involving land, construction and permanent loans to developers of affordable housing nationwide.

Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, Ms. Laffler handled numerous real estate matters, including the acquisition and sale of luxury residential real property and cooperative apartments, and has represented retail tenants in commercial leasing transactions. She has also conducted analyses of various asset management transactions for institutional lenders with respect to their secondary market portfolios.

During law school, Ms. Laffler was a legal intern with the New York City Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Laffler was a business analyst with a technology and management consulting firm, and a project manager and facilitator with a multinational finance and insurance corporation.
