Michelle Kay Lee is a Los Angeles attorney and a member of the Holland & Knight's Private Wealth Services Group, practicing in the area of trusts and estates litigation for high-net-worth individuals and entities. She has experience in drafting comprehensive estate plans for individuals and counseling fiduciaries.
During law school, Ms. Lee was a clinical intern with the USC Intellectual Property & Technology Law Clinic. As a clinical intern, Ms. Lee co-authored two amicus curiae briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court regarding subject matter patentability and co-presented and co-published works regarding an attorney's duty of confidentiality in the age of internet surveillance. Ms. Lee also was involved with the J.D./LL.M. Partnership Committee, Peer Mentorship Program and the Review of Law and Social Justice Journal.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Lee practiced in a Pasadena-based law firm, where she assisted the firm's trusts and estates, business and litigation practice groups.
In the community, Ms. Lee is a Los Angeles Regional Board Member with Reading Partners, a nonprofit children's literacy group that works with community volunteers and schools to provide students who are reading below grade level with individualized reading support.
