Brooke Lenneman is a Chicago real estate attorney who practices in the areas of land use and local government. She represents municipalities, state agencies and private sector clients.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Lenneman was assistant corporation counsel for the City of Chicago where she gained extensive knowledge of the city's municipal code, permitting processes, zoning administration and legislative processes. An experienced litigator, Ms. Lenneman prosecuted violations of the city's zoning ordinance and building code, as well as defended the city in complaints for equitable relief.

Ms. Lenneman has negotiated favorable settlements to resolve sign regulation and landmark matters and has considerable experience counseling various city departments in the development of policies and protocols. She has worked with aldermen, community groups, condominium associations and property owners to achieve positive outcomes and code compliance in the full range of land use disputes.
