Fabio Miceli is an asset finance lawyer who advises clients on a wide variety of general finance, asset and structured transactions, particularly in regard to aircraft acquisition, leasing and trading. He also handles banking, commercial lending and cross-border transactions, representing a range of clients including banks, financial institutions, corporations, airlines and aircraft lessors.
Mr. Miceli also advises on matters concerning financial service activities and business in the Middle East and Africa regions, including the countries of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and South Africa. These matters include trade and commodity finance, corporate financing, structured financing, Islamic banking, cash management and private equity. In addition, Mr. Miceli counsels on general aspects of commercial, international and aviation law in South Africa.
During law school, Mr. Miceli examined trade law as it involves the World Trade Organization (WTO). His thesis was titled "The Role of the WTO in Global Development With Emphasis on the Enabling Clause and the Aptness of Special and Differential Treatment."
