Raseq Moizuddin is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office who focuses on commercial litigation. Specifically, Mr. Moizuddin works on issues involving product liability, alternative dispute resolution, breach of commercial contracts, bankruptcy and creditor's rights, labor and employment and class-action lawsuits. Mr. Moizuddin is experienced in every aspect of the litigation process, including pre-suit factual investigation, preparing and responding to pleadings, conducting discovery and depositions, negotiating settlements and leading and assisting with trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Moizuddin worked as a litigator representing global banks, financial institutions, construction companies and municipalities in a multitude of litigation matters in both state and federal courts. During that time, Mr. Moizuddin first- and second-chaired several trials and arbitrations involving fraud issues in bankruptcy, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and trade secrets litigation.
During law school, Mr. Moizuddin dedicated time to DePaul University College of Law's Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, which assists women in obtaining orders of protection from abusive partners and situations. Mr. Moizuddin also participated in the school's Technology and Intellectual Property Clinic, in which he assisted startup businesses with submitting trademark applications and complying with federal privacy laws.
