J'lene C. Mortimer is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Tysons office and a member of the firm's Private Wealth Services Group. Ms. Mortimer focuses her practice on trust and estate administrations and charitable donation matters. She primarily works with charitable organizations and personal representatives to ensure that charitable organizations receive estate and trust funds bequeathed to them in a timely manner.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Mortimer worked as a legal recruiter for a global legal recruiting company. Before she transitioned to recruiting, she worked as a trusts and estates attorney in the private wealth services group of a Virginia-based law firm where she advised clients on their estate plans and drafted wills, trust agreements, advanced medical directives and durable powers of attorney. She also counseled clients regarding estate administration procedures and lifetime gifting strategies.

During law school, Ms. Mortimer was an executive editor of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology and volunteered as a legal advocate at the Legal Aid Justice Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.
