Overview

Michael G. Razeeq is a Houston attorney and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. He is well-versed in advising clients on commercial disputes, including early dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and litigation, as well as on commercial transactions. He also is experienced in providing counsel on data strategy, security and privacy issues.

Mr. Razeeq's representation spans a variety of sectors, including the energy, maritime, healthcare and finance industries.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Razeeq was an in-house attorney at a major international oil and gas company, where he supported both litigation and transactional matters. In litigation, he responded to subpoenas, discovery and claims, and managed personal injury and property damage lawsuits. In his transactional role, Mr. Razeeq supported the supply chain organization by drafting and negotiating agreements, providing training to business stakeholders, and assisting business stakeholders to resolve pre-litigation disputes.

During law school, Mr. Razeeq was a judicial law intern to the Hon. Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and to the Hon. Fredericka Homberg Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Razeeq also was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.
