Jodi Richardson is a Washington, D.C., public affairs advisor and a member of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group. Ms. Richardson has worked in the political and public sectors for nearly a decade, handling campaigns at the local, state and national levels. She uses her experience to help clients navigate Capitol Hill and its interaction with businesses, individuals and others affected by lawmaker decisions.
Ms. Richardson's extensive experience includes her role as scheduler and staff director for the Hon. Todd Young, a former U.S. representative and current U.S. senator from Indiana. In 2010, Ms. Richardson served as the Hon. Young's campaign administrator. Upon his election, she was part of the team opening his Washington office. Sen. Young currently serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). In addition, Ms. Richardson worked on the re-election campaign of former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, who served as governor from 2005 to 2013. She also has experience as scheduler for former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and as executive assistant to the president of IMS Productions at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Ms. Richardson's campaign background includes serving on the staff of multiple candidates and elected officials, including Lt.. Gov. Becky Skillman, then-Republican Whip Roy Blunt, a former U.S. representative and current U.S. senator from Missouri, and former Reps. Steve Buyer (R-Ind.) and Mike Sodrel (R-Ind.).
