Ruarri M. Rogan is a commercial litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Mr. Rogan represents clients in litigation matters across various industries, including insurance, healthcare, hospitality, aviation, energy and housing. He advises clients on a variety of commercial and civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Rogan was a Pro Bono Scholar and student attorney with the Fordham University Criminal Defense Clinic (CDC), where he represented clients both pre-trial and post-conviction. While at the CDC, he represented defendants, under a First Department student practice order, in arraignments, investigations, negotiations with the District Attorney's office, and in motion practice advocating for disposition of charges.
During law school, Mr. Rogan worked as a summer judicial intern for the Honorable Jane A. Restani at the U.S. Court of International Trade, and as a civil procedure teaching assistant for Professor Thomas Lee.
Before law school, from 2011 to 2017, Mr. Rogan worked in the corporate sales department of a multinational digital information company where he consulted with research and development (R&D) teams in Africa, Northern Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.
In addition, Mr. Rogan is a volunteer with the New York State Bar Association's Lawyer Assistance Program.
