Overview

James E.L. Seay is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Orlando office. Mr. Seay's experience includes the drafting of documentation for complex joint ventures to acquire and develop apartment projects, office buildings, assisted living facilities, shopping centers and hotels. He has also represented a Class I railroad in rail line dispositions, including for the establishment of a metropolitan commuter rail line. He has represented several publicly traded and privately owned single-family homebuilders in connection with the acquisition of land for subdivision development, joint ventures among builders and the sale of operating divisions. Mr. Seay is currently representing investors in connection with the development of a "smart city," including project structure and documentation.
