Julia Segovia

Julia Segovia is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office, where she focuses her practice on oil, gas and energy projects. Ms. Segovia provides advice on matters related to corporate, regulatory, contractual and administrative law. She has been involved in several energy-related projects regarding upstream, midstream, downstream, electric power and renewable energy, and project financing and infrastructure projects.

Ms. Segovia's experience includes advising on highly regulated aspects of upstream, midstream and downstream operations in Mexico. She is currently working in complex competition, due diligence and unitization aspects of oil fields on behalf of global oil operators in Mexico.

In addition, Ms. Segovia has been involved in matters relating to corporate planning, company formation and mergers, including transactions regarding the incorporation of companies with foreign investment, special purpose entities and the representation of foreign corporations in Mexico.
