Tammy Tabush is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Tabush focuses on general commercial litigation and has experience in shareholder oppression actions, financial services litigation, class actions, litigation implicating ERISA and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), product liability disputes, and labor and employment matters.
In her litigation practice, Ms. Tabush represents clients in actions involving allegations of shareholder oppression, breaches of fiduciary duties, fraud, breaches of contract and other related business torts. She has experience representing clients in the consumer financial services sector, including in matters before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and on issues involving lenders with respect to commercial finance transactions. Ms. Tabush also represents companies in class actions involving allegations of consumer fraud and product liability, claims of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO), and violations of state torts and federal securities and antitrust laws. In addition, Ms. Tabush represents clients in international arbitration matters and provides counsel on arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Tabush is a member of the firm’s Legal Profession Team. As a member, Ms. Tabush represents individuals on matters related to conflicts of interest, attorney misconduct and other professional responsibility issues. Additionally, Ms. Tabush represents individuals in proceedings before the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission through the Attorney Defense Initiative, a privately sponsored pro bono initiative that focuses on assisting impaired lawyers facing disciplinary charges.
During law school, Ms. Tabush volunteered in the Children & Family Practice Group for the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, where she helped provide free legal services to families living in poverty in metropolitan Chicago.
In the community, Ms. Tabush sits on the Associate Board for WINGS Metro, a nonprofit in Chicago that is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
