Overview

Wendy Robbins is a senior counsel in Holland & Knight's Boston office and practices in the area of Tax Credit Transactions. Her practice focuses on transactional and financial matters with an emphasis on tax credit investments, real estate syndications and financings. Ms. Robbins has significant experience representing syndicators in tax credit fund formation, corporate and bridge financings as well as equity investments in projects generating federal and state low-income tax credits and historic tax credits. She previously served as in-house counsel to Boston Financial Investment Management and its predecessor, MMA Financial, where she worked on structuring, syndicating and closing both single and multi-investor tax credit funds as well as secondary partnership interest and portfolio sales.

Ms. Robbins also worked extensively on the sale of MMA's tax credit platform and managed asset portfolio, as well as general corporate and business matters related to organizational and transactional structuring, asset and fund management, taxation and accounting. She has also guided syndicators and investors in their efforts to obtain various U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approvals for complex transactions.
