Stewart Weiss is an attorney in the Chicago office of Holland & Knight. He practices in the area of land use and local government, representing municipalities, state agencies and private sector clients.

Mr. Weiss's drafts and negotiates ordinances, zoning variations, special use permits, planned unit developments, development agreements, annexation agreements, intergovernmental agreements, wireless leases and real property transactions. He also counsels local government clients on a wide range of code enforcement, regulatory, statutory compliance and contract dispute matters. Mr. Weiss serves as counsel to plan commissions, zoning boards of appeals and electoral boards.

Mr. Weiss assists private-sector clients in obtaining zoning relief for developments across northern Illinois. He has also represented clients seeking regulatory approvals from the Illinois Commerce Commission in transportation and telecommunications related matters.
