Overview
Holland & Knight's Securitization Team develops, structures and closes on a wide range of sophisticated securitization financing transactions tailored specifically to the needs of each of our clients. With an average of more than 20 years of structured finance experience, our core team members have the knowledge and hands-on experience to assist in both up and down markets throughout the entire life-cycle of financial assets, including:
- funding the origination or acquisition of the financial assets through a warehouse credit facility, ABCP issuance or other funding structure
- creating liquidity for the financial assets through a securitization transaction
- managing the securitization structure from initial closing through wind-up
- addressing unexpected and often complex restructuring and governance issues when transactions don't perform according to plan
Given this focus, we are highly experienced in representing issuers and sponsors who originate or acquire financial assets, as well as collateral managers, servicers and special servicers of such assets. We often assist clients in multiple transactions as their businesses grow.
