Lauren Millcarek is an Orlando attorney who focuses her practice on federal court litigation. Ms. Millcarek is experienced in class-action and multidistrict litigation, disputes involving debt collection and consumer solicitation practices, financial services and business litigation, as well as qui tam and white-collar crime investigation and defense.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Millcarek served for two years as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Roy B. "Skip" Dalton Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. In her tenure as a clerk, she drafted hundreds of orders on dispositive motions and assisted the judge with more than a dozen civil and criminal trials.

During law school, Ms. Millcarek served as a law clerk for the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., and as a certified legal intern with the State Attorney's Office in Gainesville, Fla. She also was an active member of the law school community and was elected as the executive managing editor of the Florida Law Review and the president of the Law Association for Women.
