Former GSA Official Warns the Shutdown Pain Could Soon Hit Landlords

GSA Leasing and Federal Real Estate Partner Robert MacKichan discusses how the government shutdown may affect the government paying its rent. The shutdown could delay payments and owners may have to borrow money or extend some type of credit until the government is capable of paying.

"Right now, my advice to clients has been just to continue to operate and fulfill your obligations," Mr. MacKichan said.
