Partner Meital Stavinsky spoke with TheMarker on Israel's high tech companies' move to enter the cannabis market and how Israeli companies will look to invest in U.S. companies in 2019. Ms. Stavinsky is the co-chair of the firm's Israel Practice and discusses how cannabis is still illegal on a federal level and limits the ability for Israeli companies to enter the market in the U.S.

"There is a consensus in the U.S. that more research needs to be done, and that the current regulatory landscape in the U.S. needs to change with the conflicting state and federal laws on this matter and the effect on interstate commerce and banking for example," said Ms. Stavinsky.
