Holland & Knight Partner Stacie Goeddel Named Hospitality MVP by Law360
SAN FRANCISCO (December 12, 2018) – Holland & Knight Partner Stacie Goeddel has been named a Hospitality MVP by Law360. She is only one of three hospitality lawyers in the country to be selected for this honor.
In choosing Ms. Goeddel, Law360 cited "her gift for helping clients with complicated mixed-use developments over the past year . . . with achievements like aiding Marriott with the takeover of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Panama," which was converted to a JW Marriott hotel. According to the editors, "Goeddel was at the helm of negotiating and counseling her client on the legal issues involved in managing the properties, helping Marriott understand the complex financial structures at play and the rights and responsibilities of the hotel owner, as well as the unit owners." Law360 also noted that Ms. Goeddel advised Marriott International last year with a similar conversion of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto.
A real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's San Francisco office, Ms. Goeddel represents owners, lenders and hotel brands on a wide range of mixed-use developments. She advises on urban, residential, resort and hotel projects throughout the United States and in foreign jurisdictions, with a focus on the Caribbean and Latin America regions. Ms. Goeddel has extensive experience counseling hotel operators and owners on branded residential projects, including those with whole-ownership, condominium hotel, and timeshare and vacation club components.
