Holland & Knight Attorneys Author Colombia Chapter in The Mining Law Review

The Mining Law Review
Jose V. Zapata | Daniel Fajardo Villada

Holland & Knight attorneys José Zapata and Daniel Fajardo have co-authored the chapter on Colombia in the seventh edition of The Mining Law Review, which was written by leading mining practitioners from around the world and includes 18 chapters that deal with mining in a particular jurisdiction. The countries profiled were selected because of the importance of mining to their economies and to ensure a broad geographical representation. Colombia ranks as one of the most important producers of nickel and coal in South America, and also is the second-largest producer of emeralds in the world.

The publication is designed to be a practical, business-focused "year in review" analysis of recent changes, developments and their effects in the mining industry, as well as a look forward at expected trends.
