Pay Equity in Collegiate Athletic Coaching and the Massachusetts Equal Pay Act

Labor, Employment and Benefits attorneys Janet P. Judge and Andrew Silvia co-authored an article for the Boston Bar Journal regarding the Massachusetts Equal Pay Act (MEPA) and collegiate athletics. Ms. Judge and Mr. Silvia address how coaches of women's and men's athletic teams are compensated differently and why by outlining the parameters that are used to identify and define "comparable work" between two coaches of the same sport.
