Holland & Knight Sponsoring New York School of Aviation Finance 2016
Holland & Knight Aircraft Finance Team is sponsoring and participating in Euromoney’s New York School of Aviation Finance April 20-22 in New York City. John F. Pritchard, global chair of Holland & Knight’s Aircraft Finance practice, is co-director of the school and will be speaking on two panels on day one’s Sources of Funding module, Market Overview and Case Study: Teams and Explanations, on April 20. Fred Bass, New York-based Aircraft Finance partner, will also participate on day one, speaking as part of the Case Study of Commercial Aviation-related Secured Debt Transactions in the Capital Markets panel.
Operating Leasing is the focus of day two on April 21, with a number of Holland & Knight Aircraft Finance partners presenting on their various areas of knowledge and experience. San Francisco-based Audrey Sung and New York-based Richard Furey are jointly presenting on three panels: Operating Leases: Explanation and Update, Operating Leases: Practical Applications and Lessor – Lessee/Seller – Purchaser’s Views on the Process of Aircraft Deliveries and Returns. John Pritchard is leading the Effects of the Cape Town Convention on Daily Aircraft and Engine Finance session, along with co-presenting with Richard Furey and New York-based tax partner Richard Crowley on Transaction Structures, Documentation and the Principles of Tax Based-Leasing panel.
Asset Management and Restructuring is the focus of day three on April 22. James Rollins, Holland & Knight Bankruptcy partner based in Atlanta, is featured with San Francisco-based Aircraft Finance partner William Piels on the What Happens When It All Goes Wrong? (US Market) panel. Aviation litigator Marc Antonecchia of our New York office will participate in the Restructuring/Repossession Case Study session.
