After a slow start, and with support and prodding from Congress, the Trump Administration has picked up the pace creating opportunities for clean technology and resiliency solutions. Many of these come from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), but there are additional programs at the U.S. Departments of Defense (DoD), Agriculture (USDA), Transportation (DOT) and throughout the federal government – if you know where to look. In addition, the new dynamic in Congress opens the door to policy opportunities and spending changes that could benefit companies at every stage of development.

Holland & Knight attorneys recently presented the outlook and opportunities for clean tech in the wake of the 2018 elections. From early stage research grants to support for commercial-scale production plants, and from conventional solicitations to the DoD's Other Transaction Authority, our presenters examined insights on where to find these opportunities, how to work with Congress to advance your goals, and the knowledge on how to secure the funding you need for your business.
