"Identifying specific clients can be of significant benefit when those clients are well-known and respected as third-party validators of your work," said Mr. Whitestone. "Divulging client engagements, however, needs to be thought out and cleared with those clients. Some clients are very sensitive to divulging their matters, while others are not, so you need to have an understanding of your clients' views on disclosure before identifying them.”
