Railway Interchange: Wait Until 2018 for Infrastructure Bill

Senior Policy Advisor Scott Mason's speech at the Railway Supply Institute’s Advocacy Panel at Railway Interchange 2017 was highlighted in Railway Age. In his presentation he said, “Infrastructure is still on the President’s agenda, but it has faded in priority order, behind health care reform and tax reform,” adding, "at the end of the day, they [Congress] are going to have to pass a bill.”

In the same article, Senior Policy Advisor Mike Friedberg discussed the "House of Representatives recently passing its version of an omnibus appropriations bill, with substantial funding for transportation," along with speculation of when the bill might make it to the Senate.
