Overview

Parker Niles is a Boston attorney and member of Holland & Knight's Tax Credit Transactions Practice. Mr. Niles focuses his practice on New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) transactions. He also represents investors who utilize low-income housing tax credit matters and guides clients through general corporation, partnership and limited liability company matters, including negotiating and drafting various agreements.

In addition, Mr. Niles represents institutional investors, community development entities (CDEs), Qualified Active Low-Income Community Businesses (QALICB) borrowers and lenders on using NMTCs to finance economic development. He has assisted clients in a wide array of NMTC projects across the country, including the development of charter schools, youth development centers, college and university facilities, a culinary arts center, homeless shelters, community outreach and food distribution centers, various types of medical facilities, as well as manufacturing and production facilities.

During law school, Mr. Niles was a judicial extern for the Honorable Mae A. D'Agostino in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
