Overview

Sarah Parker is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on information technology, outsourcing agreements, technology licensing and support, systems integration, managed network services, software licensing and support, software as a service (SaaS) transactions, electronic commerce arrangements, and other similar commercial transactions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Parker was a legal director at a publicly traded cybersecurity company headquartered in Atlanta, where she drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a wide variety of commercial contracts. She also was an associate in the Atlanta office of a national law firm, where she advised public and private corporate clients in complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, financing arrangements, and securities.

Prior to launching her legal career, Ms. Parker reported and produced for CNN's Political Unit in Washington, D.C. She covered Congress and the White House for CNN.com, including reporting on the 2008 Presidential election and produced and edited "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" podcast.

In the community, Ms. Parker is a Boston Regional Board Member of Indego Africa, a nonprofit social enterprise that supports women in Rwanda and Ghana through economic empowerment and education. She also volunteers at Boston Cares, New England's largest volunteer agency and Innovation Hub within the national HandsOn Network.

During law school, Ms. Parker served as the associate editor-in-chief of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust & Estates Law Journal.
