Overview

Stewart Gordon is a strategic communications advisor in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Gordon serves on the firm's High-Stakes Communications and Risk and Crisis Management Teams. He has extensive experience managing multimarket and international communications campaigns. With a solid background in crisis and litigation communications, Mr. Gordon concentrates on strategic communications and public affairs for the heavily regulated healthcare and life sciences, energy, construction, hospitality, chemical and transportation industries.

Mr. Gordon designs and manages proactive and rapid response communication operations for news headline makers. He also manages online and mainstream media programs around the world for those whose reputations have been challenged.

Mr. Gordon regularly conducts sophisticated opinion research projects to measure awareness and gauge the effectiveness of messengers and messages. He has served as a communications advisor to corporate leadership faced with high-profile data breaches, government investigations and lawsuits.

Mr. Gordon gathers intelligence and recruits opinion leaders and advocates in key markets throughout the U.S. and around the globe. He is committed to ensuring that high-stakes communications projects are on task, on time and on budget.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Gordon worked in logistics for the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington, D.C. Through his dedication to pro bono projects, Mr. Gordon has been an architect of several websites for nonprofits, including the launch site for The Partnership for a Healthier America. He is the official chair for one of the top U.S. accredited swimming clubs in the Mid-Atlantic region.
