In 2018, agencies and leaders in Congress are focused on revisiting environmental regulations. Although the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has not provided any details regarding the administration's vision for replacing the Clean Power Plan, the EPA has sought comments on how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from stationary sources.
“It’s unclear what that will look like, however. When it comes to the Clean Air Act there is always a see-saw between regulation and litigation and it is unlikely that anything will be finalized quickly,” said Senior Policy Advisor Beth Viola.
