Holland & Knight Advises ConnectWise in Sale to Private Equity Firm

Tampa, Fla. (March 11, 2019) – Holland & Knight represented software company ConnectWise in its acquisition by Thoma Bravo, LLC, a private equity investment firm. The deal closed on February 28.

Tampa-based ConnectWise connects teams with the platform and solutions that deliver technology as a service to the world. Its award-winning business management platform automates the full lifecycle of technology service delivery, from sales and service to project tracking and back-office functions, for more than 25,000 partners in more than 65 countries. ConnectWise has a valuation of $1.2 billion and $243 million in annual revenue.

Thoma Bravo is a leading private equity firm focused on the software and technology-enabled services sectors. It manages a series of funds representing more than $30 billion in capital and has offices in San Francisco and Chicago.

Holland & Knight Partners Bob Grammig, Jack Levine, Bernard Barton, Mike Mills, John Dierking, Elizabeth Burkhard and Kelly-Ann Cartwright, along with Associates Eric Almon, Matt Lastinger and Cameron Hall, advised ConnectWise on the deal.
