Holland & Knight Expands Financial Services Practice with Addition of Douglas Youngman in New York

NEW YORK (January 14, 2019) – Financial services lawyer Douglas Youngman has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the firm's New York office. Mr. Youngman focuses his practice on derivatives, complex financial transactions and structured products. Most recently, he was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery in New York.

Mr. Youngman advises clients on the negotiation and execution of a wide range of derivatives, including interest rate swaps, total return swaps, credit default swaps, caps and options, as well as guaranteed investment contracts, forward purchase agreements, repurchase agreements and other reinvestment products. He also advises clients with respect to structured finance, liquidity (including letters of credit, standby bond purchases and revolving credit), bank lending and direct purchase transactions in the municipal and tax-exempt markets.

Mr. Youngman received a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Tufts University.
