Latest Move To Ease Cuba Trade Could Be Limit For Obama

The U.S. government announced a rule change that loosens restrictions on exporting products to Cuba by allowing financing through U.S. banks or through sales on an open account. Attorney Andy Fernandez says that this move by the US puts pressure on Cuba to liberalize their own restrictions on commerce, since the Cuban private sector has limited access to importing mechanisms.

"The Cuban government is going to have to take some steps to make it easier for the private sector in Cuba to import," said Mr. Fernandez.
