Trump's First 100 Days and a Look Ahead

President Donald Trump is expected to make more changes to employment and immigration law. Although Trump's travel bans have been halted, the administration is making progress regarding immigration law by changing enforcement priorities. There are also several changes in the works for the Labor Department as well in terms of tax laws and regulatory enforcement strategies. Employers are concerned about the Health Care industry due to the tax reform proposals and failure of the repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act.

"Given the unsuccessful attempt to move legislation, it is likely that the administration will explore what changes can be made by executive actions and through regulatory changes," Public Policy Attorney Nicole Elliott said.
