Holland & Knight Partners Luis Rubio Barnetche and Octavio Lecona, along with Senior Counsel Blanca Luévano, co-authored the "Mexico: Trends and Development" section in the Chambers Global Practice Guide: TMT 2019.

The authors discussed how the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector has changed significantly in recent years and what Mexico President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's administration will be tasked with developing moving forward.

Among other topics, the authors provided analysis on Red Troncal (backbone network), Red Compartida (shared network), telecommunications infrastructure, spectrum auctions for 5G technology, preponderant economic agents and consumers' rights.
