USDA Renewable Energy Program Forecast

The existing renewable energy programs provide grants and loans to financially assist agricultural producers and small businesses. In addition to assisting rural businesses in obtaining credit for business purposes, with the intentions to save and create jobs in rural America. It is expected that renewable energy programs will remain in place, especially because the Trump Administration has received strong support in rural America. Policies aimed at rural development, job creation and economic development should continue to be pursued, although significant changes have been made to USDA programs.
