Policy & Pizza Series: Current Immigration Landscape

Grab a slice, network and enjoy a thoughtful discussion on key policy issues. The Holland & Knight Policy & Pizza series was created to provide an informal setting in which young policy and legal professionals examine issues across the policy spectrum and engage their colleagues and peers in discussion. The lunch series is held every other month, with a focus on pressing and topical policy issues.

Our October session will be spearheaded by Public Affairs Advisor Marissa Serafino, who will focus on the current immigration landscape. Marissa develops and executes regulatory and legislative strategies on a variety of policy issues, including immigration, for corporate and local government clients. Before joining Holland & Knight, Marissa worked for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) for four years. She is also a third-year evening student at The George Washington University Law School.

Join Holland & Knight to better understand the impact of the Administration's recent immigration actions, such as rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), issuing a revised travel ban and withholding federal funds from sanctuary cities. We also will examine the relevant legal issues and ongoing litigation that could determine the fate of these reforms.
