How the Grid Works 101 and Offshore Wind Considerations

Energy Partner Mark Kalpin will join the third session in the Offshore Wind Transmission Webinar Series hosted by the Northeast Regional Ocean Council in partnership with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean. This session is titled "How the Grid Works 101 and Offshore Wind Considerations." Participants will learn about regulatory, operational, management and market characteristics of electricity transmission from offshore wind projects, and the challenges of shifting to a new planning paradigm offshore. It will provide an overview of how the grid works and outline regulatory considerations for offshore wind transmission planning.
