Practicing Before EPA's Environmental Appeals Board

Environmental attorney Dianne Phillips will speak at a Boston Bar Association webinar going over the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Environmental Appeals Board and the different facets of practicing before the board. The Environmental Appeals Board is an appellate tribunal established by regulation to hear administrative appeals under all major environmental statutes that the EPA administers, with its caseload consisting primarily of appeals from permit decisions and administrative civil penalty decisions. Ms. Phillips, alongside other practitioners and counsels to the board, will be discussing some of the unique features of this area of environmental litigation.
