Media Literacy Education: Safeguarding Democracy in a Digital World

Constitutional and public law attorney Christopher Riano will participate in a fireside-style chat with former U.S. Solicitor General Noel Francisco at "Media Literacy Education: Safeguarding Democracy in a Digital World," a civic education event organized by the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Riano will examine how misinformation, disinformation and digital manipulation affect public perception and civic participation as well as outline practical strategies to foster critical thinking and responsible media consumption. The program will focus on equipping participants to navigate the digital landscape with discernment and integrity.
