Contracting for LNG Value Chain Constraints
10th Annual International Energy Summit (IES), Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN)
New Orleans, Louisiana 70130
Energy transactions attorney Luke Burns will participate in a panel at the Association of International Energy Negotiators' (AIEN) 10th Annual International Energy Summit (IES) in New Orleans focusing on the contractual side of growth in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market. Mr. Burns and his fellow panelists will discuss emerging stress points affecting the LNG value chain, including price arbitrage, cyclical supply and demand imbalances, a wave of new supply and rising project costs. The session will also examine how inconsistent approaches can exacerbate these pressures, along with the contractual tools that may offer greater flexibility as the LNG market continues to take shape.
