Elevating Leadership, Shaping What Comes Next: The Ethics of Civility

Litigation attorney Adrianne Waddell will moderate a panel discussion on leadership at the HNBA/VIA 2026 Annual Convention, taking place in National Harbor, Maryland. Holland & Knight will once again sponsor this yearly gathering of Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) members and other legal professionals, which will feature meaningful programming, networking opportunities and career development workshops. Adrianne's session will hear from four HNBA leaders from different areas of practice about what the legal profession needs from its next generation of leaders. Herself the HNBA's national vice president of affiliates and associates, Adrianne will guide a conversation on civility, diversity of thought, respectful disagreement, and showing grace and respect amid frustration. Speakers will describe what true leadership looks like and how elevating leadership can also elevate the rule of law, providing thoughtful commentary on how they lead in their communities and how attorneys can step up to do the same.
