"I like the people I work with. I like coming in and showing them pictures of my daughter and just generally not dreading logging in to the office every day," she said.
Annie Malo: I always say that you move for the resources and you stay for the people. So we moved for the resources, the footprint. Granted, I love the team I brought with me, so I wouldn't have left them behind. But we have expanded that team. I would say our team is now probably double the size. We brought eight. I would say we probably work with about 20 right now. So being able to expand our team has been phenomenal.
I like the people I work with. I like coming in and showing them pictures of my daughter and just generally not dreading logging in to the office every day. And that's what I have found. I've been at three firms over my career, and that's what I have found, is what you stay for, because the work you can take with you, but liking your office, liking who you work with, that's hard to recreate.
