New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program and Tax Credit Analysis

Associate Meaghan Colligan contributed to the "New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program and Tax Credit Analysis" by the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate. The study provides objective data regarding the impact and effectiveness of the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program (NYS BCP) and the Brownfield Tax Credits (BTC). The NYS BCP was first signed into law in 2003 and amended on June 23, 2008. Following the issuance of this report, the NYS BCP and the BTCs were amended again. The new provisions became effective on July 1, 2015.
