Sweetwater Approves Multifamily Project Near FIU

South Florida Business Journal

Real Estate attorney Alejandro Arias was cited in South Florida Business Journal regarding the approval of Tech Tower, a 23-story apartment project strategically located just north of Florida International University’s main campus. The project encompasses a $10 million property spanning 1.15 acres. Using Arquitectonica's design, Tech Tower will consist of 170 apartments featuring 678 beds, with 20 percent designated as workforce housing, alongside 4,202 square feet of commercial space. The building's amenities are highlighted by a top-floor pool deck, rooftop club room, fitness center and lounge. Mr. Arias commented that the development seeks to enhance the urban landscape while serving not only students but also the broader community around FIU.

"Designed by Arquitectonica, the proposed project will incorporate elegant and refined architecture that will enhance the attractiveness and visual appeal of this important corridor in close proximity to FIU, and the surrounding neighborhood," he said. Tech Tower would not be strictly for students, he added.
